hopy shit, winding from a swift is so much faster than from your knees.
you might even say it’s the….swifter option.
That made me laugh out loud. And then repeat it to Chris who is sat right next to me!!!!
How crazed I feel, having returned from my knitting session at the cafe to find one of my sock size dpns has vanished. I went back to the cafe„but it was nowhere. Sadness indeed.
This book is worth every penny! 75 patterns all sizes! I took my copy to Staples and had them spiral bind it, making it easy to read the patterns while working.
Never even knew one could do this with books!
My (unintentionally toned down colors of the) Pansexual pride flag socks! This is my first pair of hand knitted socks. Not sure how long it took me to make them but I learned an important lesson at the end: lots of stripes means lots of loose ends to see in. >.< never doing that again XD They’re 100% wool so hopefully they will shrink up a little bit with multiple washings since they are a little loose fitting. But not bad for my first attempt. :) Leave me a message or reblog to tell me what you all think of them! ^__^
I love these! So impressive, and more so as a first time accomplishment!
Storm attacked by blue angry bird
A little something I made for my beloved katphan13, as she’s been having a rather difficult last few days. Isn’t she cute? I’ve named her Barbara Manatee after the VeggieTales Silly Song with Larry.
Enjoy, Kat! I hope to have it sent to you fairly soon. We’ll seen.

Our Penguin Classics desk. Makes working from home even better (it’s already pretty good: radio, slippers, tea, rat baby cuddles).
I covered a free glass topped desk from my very generous boss at work with over half a box of Penguin covers postcards, a Christmas gift from my girl.
